What to expect

Whether you're looking to attend a church service for the first time, or are looking for a church to call home, we want you to feel at home in our "living room." We're a bunch of down-to-earth people so there's no dress code - come casual or dress up - whatever you feel comfortable in.

Getting here

We meet at Ormiston Senior College on Sunday from 10 AM to 12 PM. If you're coming from Botany, head east on Ormiston Road past the iconic Ormiston Bridge and the shopping mall (Ormiston Town Centre). Turn right at the traffic lights onto Te Ara Kahikatea, where you'll find the entrance to the school. There is free parking available on-street or at the school carpark just off the roundabout on Te Ara Kahikatea.

During the service

You'll be greeted by our friendly Welcome Team as you make your way into the auditorium. The service begins with singing a few songs of praise and worship to God. There'll be a brief time of prayer and notices where visitors will receive a Welcome Pack with some chocolate. This will be followed by a sermon shared by one of our pastors or a guest speaker (approximately 20 to 25 minutes). The children and our Cambodian folk go into separate teaching sessions during this time. The service finishes with a final song. During the service, there is an opportunity for our church family to contribute financially towards our mission - feel free to let the offertory bag pass by without any sense of obligation.

After the service

Our service usually finishes around 11.30 AM. We'll then move to the cafeteria for morning tea. This is a chance to connect with old friends or make new ones. Occasionally, we'll have a church potluck, where you'll get to sample cuisines from around the world!
