Steve worked as a surgeon at a mission hospital in South Africa before emigrating to New Zealand. He continued his medical practice in Whangarei whilst also pastoring churches on the side (including as interim pastor of Ormiston Baptist). Steve is a gifted preacher with a flair and a passion for bringing the Word of God to life.
Last year we watched “Jesus Revolution” – a movie about the life of Pastor Greg Laurie and his involvement in the Jesus movement. Suggestions are welcome for this year’s movie choice! Our auditorium has a superb sound and projector system, and best of all, we get to watch together as a church family!
